Djibo Hamani University of Tahoua (UDH) is a public institution of higher education and research located in Tahoua, at the heart of one of Niger's most populous regions. It bears the name of Professor Djibo Hamani, a Nigerien historian whose work on the history of the Ader and Sahelian societies is a reference.
Every year the university welcomes new high-school graduates from Tahoua, neighbouring regions and the whole country. It offers Bachelor's and Master's programmes organised according to the LMD system, in fields directly linked to Niger's development needs: law, economics and management, agronomy, educational sciences and technology.
