Faculty of Law, Economics and Management

The Faculty of Law, Economics and Management (FADEG) trains the lawyers, economists and managers needed by public administration, local authorities, businesses, banks and international organisations.

It offers Bachelor's degrees in public law, private law, human rights and humanitarian action, economic policy analysis and business management, as well as Master's degrees in law, finance, management control, marketing and development economics.

The faculty hosts the Law Research Laboratory (LARDEP).

Bachelor's in Public Law

3 years

Three years of law studies, including a two-year common core, specialising in the rules governing the State and its relations with private persons and other States: constitutional, administrative, tax and international law.

Career prospects: Civil service competitive exams (categories A, B and C), contract positions in public bodies, law firms; progression to a Master's in public law.

3 years

A solid general legal education and lawyers' methodology, specialising in contract law, company law and labour law. Two years of common core with the other law degrees.

Career prospects: Law firms, notarial offices, legal and HR departments, banks, insurance, real estate, social protection, civil service exams (Bac+3); progression to a Master's in private law.

Bachelor's in Human Rights and Humanitarian Action

3 years

A professional degree training lawyers specialising in rights and freedoms, international humanitarian law and humanitarian action, with teaching by NGO and international organisation professionals, a three-month placement and a dissertation.

Career prospects: NGOs and international organisations (UNICEF, WFP, UNHCR, UNDP, IOM…), national human rights institutions, associations, law firms; progression to a Master's.
